Rabies Vaccination & Registration in Yokohama City

At Pia Animal Medical Center, we can complete your dog’s rabies vaccination and official registration with Yokohama City at the same time.

In Japan, rabies vaccination is required by law once a year for all dogs over 91 days old.
The official vaccination period is from April to June each year.

After vaccination, we can handle the city registration on your behalf.
You will receive:

• 🐾 Official Rabies Vaccination Certificate
• 🏷️ Registration tag (for new dogs) or Vaccination tag (for annual renewal)

Fees:

• Rabies vaccination: ¥3,850
• New registration (for dogs not yet registered): ¥3,000
• Handling fee (administration): ¥550

Please bring:

• Your Yokohama address information
• Previous registration tag (if already registered)

💡 Once your dog is registered, you only need to receive the rabies vaccination each year between April and June.
